Her Kirsten Glad´s to skulpture fra KP12,
English summery: My Easter holiday has been filled up with creativity and I have enjoyed it. I have made some new frames for making silkscreen printing. When my new works are finished I´ll show them here.
Earlier on this blog I have written about Saatchi Online and their “Showdowns”. At the moment there is submission for the next showdown. The theme for this showdown is abstract.
Showdowns are excellent opportunities to see lots of great art from all over the world. I really enjoy being a member of Saatchi Online, as it gives me the possibility of networking with artists from all over the world, and it is a great source of inspiration. And what more is it gives you a showcase.
I went to Aros – the local museum of Art. I love the place and with my membership card I can go there as often as I like. And I like to go often.
They are celebrating the 70th birthday of Mogens Gissel with a special exhibition. I like his artwork. His works are clean, the colors seem dry and clear and some of his works are more sketch-like.
And of course, when I am at Aros I must see the department of contemporary art. And to my great pleasure I saw that they had a huge artwork, made by Robert Rauchenberg and a huge artwork made by David Parrish. Two great Pop Art artists.
The exhibition ”Kunst for alle” is celebrating it´s 10th years anniversary. And maybe that is the reason why so much very interesting art has found its way to the exhibition? The exhibition is being held in “Ridehuset” in Aarhus.
If you are in the neighbourhood you still have the chance to visit the exhibition. Today is the last day. It is on-going until 6 pm. Today
I went to see the exhibition yesterday and took a lot of photos with my iPhone.
I´ve picked out some of the artists/artworks that I liked.
